Bio

Born and raised in the Bronx, Ally García always had her eyes set on working in the entertainment industry. She was always interested in the latest stories and pop culture events and had a knack for interviewing others. Being multifaceted, she trained with TV Host/ Agent, Patricia Stark, Casting Directors Risa Tanania & Barbara Barna Abel, as well as Susan Finch in technique and scene study in acting. She is currently repped by Bicoastal MGMT in NYC as a Lifestyle/ Commercial Model/Actor.

Education

With a passion for media and being in front of the camera, Ally García went on to study at Iona College. She was a dual major in Mass Communication and Spanish. While juggling two majors, she made her way to the Dean's List and was inducted into three honor societies for her scholarly work. Aside from her studies, she wrote for the college newspaper and took part in the radio and television clubs. She graduated at Radio City Music Hall in New York City as Magna Cum Laude.

Employment

Ally García started off in local television, specifically at LMC-TV and from there continued at BronxNet Television. While at BronxNet Television, she was featured on the NYC billboards, buses and was on the front page paper of the Bronx-Times Reporter. But, she followed her dreams and pursued entertainment news. She currently freelances for various digital outlets, such as: The Knockturnal and Blackfilm, and recently has served as the lifestyle host for the Time Warner show, A Taste of New York. Some of her skills include: Being on air, writing and producing. She's always interested in new opportunities- not only behind the camera but also in front!
